Job Transitioning

There are a myriad of reasons for transitioning from one job to another or even from one career to another. Some transitions such as staying in the same line of work but switching employers may require less time or energy, while switching to a whole new line of work may feel daunting at best. The reality is that any change can be difficult and it’s about how you handle times of uncertainty or unhappiness that starts a new course for a better path.

This service would include an honest evaluation of where things are currently; both financially and mentally so that you can create a realistic strategy that’s sustainable for a future transition. Although having an ideal company or role in mind can be helpful for goal setting, it can also create an unrealistic transition expectation and more feelings of disappointment. It’s about finding balance and coming up with a game plan to make that transition happen sooner than later.

Similarly, someone who has mostly worked in the government sector may find the private sector process in hiring, surprising.

I’ll share the main differences and how best to approach the new environments and their processes.

It takes a lot of courage to enter into the space of the unknown when making a change. What I am not is a Life Coach; however, I can help provide tools to deal with stress and most importantly, come up with a realistic strategy to make the transition happen.

Whether you’re in need of a few sessions to get clear about what you’re seeking or needing continued sessions to make a long-term change, this service would be customized to meet you where you are.
