Retreat
Meditation retreats can be powerful avenues to deepen your practice and even hit the reset button in your busy life. Unlike the basic meditation service and instruction, a retreat is an immersive experience with the practice of mindfulness meditation as the foundation.
This service would require a minimum three hour commitment and can include consecutive days over the weekend. It would go beyond the sitting practice of meditation and include elements of walking meditation as well as physical exercise that help with sitting practice.
When should I start a retreat?
There isn’t a right or wrong time to start a meditation retreat. What is recommended is that people who are beginners ease into the practice rather than have an intensive experience to start your meditation. It’s about being gentle to yourself and gaining permission to slow down a bit to reconnect with your mind and body.
If you’re a beginner or new to meditation, I recommend learning the foundation of meditation practice and having some consistency prior to a retreat experience.
For those who have had exposure or even a regular meditation practice, this could a great way to have a mini retreat to have a more intensive meditation practice.
Whether you’re looking for a more intensive session or even getting ready for a longer retreat elsewhere, this session would include addressing any questions you may have related to solitary or even longer, month long type retreats.
The main focus would actually be on practicing meditation during our time and learning other meditation tools so that it can be immersed more into your personal life.
This service can be conducted in the comforts of your home.
